notional load
Question:
How to apply notional load on each floor ? How to get the self-weight of the structure (beam, column and slab) since by using assigned floor load, the weight of the floor has to be manually applied?

Answer:
Hello,
For the notional load, please refer to the attached file (page 3~6).
To know the self-weigh by inputting the floor load, (1) load cases for the self-weight should be defined. (2) After running analysis, check the self-weigh from story load table via Query > Weight/Mass/Load table > Story Load table.
(3) self weight load case is used in floor load, so it has floor load value. And self_frame is used in self weight load, so you obtain the value in self weight column.
Thank you.
