What is the meaning of Distribuition Bar on Plate column design in Civil?

The distribution bars are only used to check the amount of reinforcement for shrinkage and temperature in the transverse direction of the slab or wall. At the moment, the check is supported only for AASHTO code. It is not supported for Eurocode.
