[STRUCTURE]     How to check whether the diaphragm effect is being considered?

A: When the Slab is not modelled, the Diaphragm effect is considered by default when the Story Data is defined.

From the main menu go to Structure > Control data > Story > Auto-Generate Story Data

On clicking on ‘OK’ , the Story Data is generated along with the consideration for ‘Floor Diaphragm’ on all the floors, that do not have Slab physically modelled.

‘Consider’ floor diaphragm implies a Rigid Diaphragm connectivity.

When the Slab elements for a particular floor is modelled, Rigid Diaphragm action need not be considered instead choose ‘Do not consider’ for Semi Rigid diaphragm action.
