Steel Composite Girder Design not working

Hello,

I am trying to use the design feature of Midas Civil to determine the shear and bending capacity of a steel composite girder (steel I beam with concrete slab on top).

I set up the model with just line beams and some simple UDL loads so that the software can run the analysis. However I am only really interested in the Capacity of the section at this moment in time.

I have set up all the relevant design parameters and load cases for composite design.

However when I try and run the design I get the following error message:

Answer:Hello,

The composite girder design feature isn't available without defining the construction stages and composite section for construction stages. For now I'd recommend defining dummy stage as below, in case the actual sequence isn't determined yet.

Construction Stage Definition:
Stage 1 - Activate all elements and boundaries
Stage 2 - Activate all loads
Composite section for construction stage:
Stage 1 - Activate the steel girder
Stage 2 - Activate the slab.
