Display loads by Group

Question:

Hi,

I am trying to organise a construction sequence model for one of our building projects. To track if all loads are in the correct load groups I noticed I can display the loads by Load Group. However, the list of groups is the Structural Groups and not the Load Groups:

This seems inconvenient. If I want to see the loads on a given structural group, I can simply activate only the elements in this group.

Is there a way to show only the loads which are assigned to a given Load Group??

Thanks and regards,

Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for sending your question.
In the Display Dialog, it is difficult to adjust to show only the loads which are assigned to a given Load Group.
If you want to see the elements by Load Groups, please use Load Group in the Tree Menu.

Thank you.

Hi Jihong,

Thank you for your answer!

however, the procedure you describe hides the rest of the model. Essentially, your are not showing only the loads in this group, but you are showing only the elements which have loads in this group.

So I have two questions to be more precise:
1) is there a way to show the entire model (all elements active) and display only the loads assigned to a given Load Group?
2) what is the purpose of the "Display by Group" function i have shown in my original screenshot?

thanks and regards,

Hello,

Thank you for sending your question.
1) There was a option to show the entire model (all elements active) and display only the loads assigned to a given Load Group.

I'm sorry I did not answer this feature right away, and thank you for your understanding.

2) "Display by Group" function is explained in the online manual. Please refer to the below image.

Have a nice day ! :)
Thank you.

Best regards,
