MIDAS GEN: SLAB MESH DESIGN, DIRECTION OF REINFORCEMENT
Question:
Hi All,
In slab mesh design;
* Does the shape of the element (i.e. not square) affects the direction/distribution of reinforcement?.
* Is there a command to check that the reinforcement is distributed as per direction (i.e. Dir.1 P20@150 along global axis Y or X)?.
Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Hello,
Regardless of the shape of the plate, default rebar data of Dir.1 is placed along the global X-axis and default rebar data of Dir.2 is placed along the global Y-axis.
Also you can change the degree of rebar data in the sub-domain dialog. Please refer to the below image.
