Dimension lines can be imported using Dimension function via Structure > UCS/Plan > Dimension.

Hi. How can I measure a member or element in Midas Gen?

By selecting the two nodes, you can get the distance of them with the query nodes function. The short key of this function is F4 key.


Also, if the 3D cad file which is imported from dimension function in midas Gen has dimension information, the distance will be printed in midas Gen.
