Hi Mr Lee,

I cannot see your explanation to the problem. Is it resolved and explained?

Hi,

The design is affected by the unbraced length which is determined from the element length by default. Thus, if one element is divided into smaller elements, the unbraced lengths of each element become shorter. In this case, it is recommend to make the divided elements into one member using the Design>General>General Design Parameter>Member Assignment function. Then, the unbraced length will be taken from the member dimension instead of element. After this revision, the design result will show NG regardless of the division.

Regards,
DK
