In order to evaluate deflections, the stiffness of soil is required rather than soil bearing pressure. The stiffness of soil is usually represented by the modulus of subgrade reaction, which can be calculated using the bearing capacity. Please refer to the article below.

Once the modulus of subgrade reaction is determined, you can assign point spring support using the 'Surface Spring Support' function.
