CIP Segmental Bridge Casting Camber

Question:

I am looking into the casting camber for a cast in place segmental bridge modeled in Midas.  I wanted to see if you could provide some detail in to the coordinate system that Midas would use in to determine the casting camber.

Hi,

The casting camber in midas is determined as the displacements at the final stage due to CS: Summation with the opposite sign. 
Suppose we want to get the camber for the segments highlighted in red below. The construction direction is from right to left (-DX). Thus, node 20 is a start node.

The vertical displacement at the final stage is as shown below.

General Camber Control setting as shown below. 

Construction camber graph as shown below. Note that node 20 (or start node) is located at the left side in the horizontal axis and node 9 (or end node) is at the right side.

If we check on the 'Set start point zero' option,

The camber is calculated with respect to the node 20 (or start node).
