Question:
Dear Midas
I normally use multiple windows for result viewing. it quite handy to check simultaneously different results in same screen. but while we close the result also got vanished, can it be possible to save and retrieve, so that no need to further apply to view results. the problem is it takes time to show the results.
Regards
Hellor,
I couldn't quite understand the part about result vanishing. But if you'd like to view multiple windows at once, that can be done using the options highlighted in the image below.
Kindly let us know if further assistance would be required.

Thanks for the reply.
yes, I use this option (you have highlighted) frequently.
sorry for the miscommunication. what I mean "vanishing" is ..once you closed the model and open again, you cant see the result window you have previously already done. To see the result you have to apply again .

Hello,
Oh, ok. Got it now.
Though, unfortunately, there is no way around it. The software saves results in different files and when the file is opened again, this data is read. As you know, it can take some time to load the data of results. So, if the user wants to check some other result, it will cause further delay if the software is loading older result view. Hence, this detail is not saved and if the old results are to be viewed again, it has to be "Apply"ed.
Kindly let us know if further assistance is required.

Thanks for the reply.
in this case, is there any option, externally to save the result data as a vector image to retrieve by Midas, later easily .
Regards
Hello,
If the purpose is just to save the image of the output for review later, then this can be done quite easily using the batch output option.
Click on button 1 above to save all the required setting for output images and then on 2 to generate these images. Kindly let us know if further assistance would be required. The results of this image have to be viewed externally.

Thanks again for your reply.
I notices that, the most commonly used "PSC beam stress" result does not have the "batch output" option, is there any other way for this ??
same for the case of "plot diagram".
Hello,
Unfortunately, no quicker way for that through midas. Though, to generate the images of custom results where this isn't available, I generally use snipping tool.
Its not as convenient as batch output, but gets the job done. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kindly let us know if further assistance would be required.
