impact on the ground

Hi,

user need to simulate impact on the ground, we know the weight and the height of object. We think is possible by Thime history analysis but we don't know how to set time function, have you some advise?

Generally, this needs to be simulated using contact analysis with time-history analysis. However, the contact analysis does not support time history analysis in midas FEA. It only supports static analysis.
