reaction is not match with applied load

In the attached file, the applied loads are 2(15.65)=31.3 kips
However, the reaction is 35 kips.
What am I missing?

Dear User,
The issue has been identified and it was due to the rigid material property created when the high rigid material is created the element stiffness matrix is incorrectly calculated (while using the penalty method) thereby leading to incoherent forces in the element as shown below:
Thus, when we use rigid links to maintain the rigid connection between those nodes we get the expected results as shown below:
