Explain Plate stress results.

In the plate results, the program only gives the 3 components on the stresses xx, yy & xy. 

Even in UCS, the program will give results for only these 3 components, for all other components it will show zero results. Basically out of the 6 components only 3 (in-plane components) would show the results. Now the selection of these 3 components would depend upon the user-defined coordinate system. 6 components are only present to cover all possible UCS.
