Load-Initial Forces/Misc.-Assign Floor Loads: Error Message "Floor Load (Number=1) contains errors. Elements that cannot be loaded exist within the loading area. ..."

When you try to assign the floor loads but receive an error message stating "[Error] Floor Load (Number=1) contains errors. Elements that cannot be loaded exist within the loading area. Check if there is a cantilever or an element that is undivided and intersects other elements," check the following conditions.

1. Make sure that all elements cross each other or meet are intersecting each other. This can be checked by using the Element Intersection function at the Node/Element main menu > Element tab > Intersection function as shown below:

2. For the Floor Loading, the sub-divisions should be uniform. For example, if you try to assign the floor load as shown below, you will receive the error message. It is because the sub-divisions are not uniform throughout the area selected.

For the Floor beam, notice that the area selected should have equivalent sub-area. Selected the area that has uniform sub-division. Then the Floor Loading is assigned successfully.
